Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Returns Handler with a strong focus on hygiene and repacking for our makeup products. This vital role ensures that returned merchandise is processed efficiently, adheres to stringent quality and hygiene standards, and is prepared for appropriate next steps, whether for return to stock, repackaging, or disposal. The ideal candidate will have an acute attention to detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This position is critical in maintaining product integrity and customer satisfaction for our beloved beauty brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and process returned makeup products, ensuring accurate sorting and documentation.
  • Perform thorough hygiene checks on all returned items, identifying any signs of tampering, use, or damage.
  • Clean, sanitize, and repackage products according to strict company and regulatory hygiene standards.
  • Accurately update inventory management systems for all processed returns.
  • Identify products that are unsuitable for resale and ensure proper disposal or segregation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Collaborate with quality control, logistics, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies or issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for returns processing and hygiene protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or retail environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to strict hygiene and quality standards.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and inventory management.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience specifically handling beauty products or cosmetics.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to warehouse operations.
