Job Description
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about healthcare to join our team as a Trainee Phlebotomist. This role is perfect for those looking to start a career in clinical healthcare, offering fully paid, comprehensive clinical training that will equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all aspects of the structured clinical training program.
- Learn and accurately perform venepuncture (blood drawing) on patients of all ages under supervision.
- Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times.
- Prepare equipment and maintain a clean and sterile working environment.
- Properly label and handle blood samples according to established protocols.
- Accurately record patient information and procedures.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and infection control procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
- Assist with other general clinical duties as required, supporting the healthcare team.
