Job Description

Are you a proactive and reliable individual with a passion for excellent service? Premier Inn is seeking a dedicated Mobile Porter to join our dynamic team in Stoke-on-Trent. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for providing essential porter services across multiple Premier Inn sites within the Staffordshire area. A company van will be provided for travel between locations, ensuring you have the tools you need to succeed. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently transport luggage, supplies, and equipment between various Premier Inn hotel sites.
  • Operate and maintain the company van in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws.
  • Assist hotel guests with luggage and other requests, providing a friendly and helpful service.
  • Support hotel operations by moving furniture, delivering packages, and assisting with general maintenance tasks as required.
  • Ensure common areas and storage rooms are kept clean, tidy, and organized.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel management and front desk staff regarding daily tasks and schedules.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Full UK driving license with a clean record.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • A proactive and reliable work ethic.
  • Customer service-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a porter, logistics, or similar role.
  • Familiarity with the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire area.
  • Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge.
