Job Description
Are you a friendly and helpful individual looking for an easy role in a dynamic retail environment? Tesco is seeking a dedicated Self-Checkout Monitor to assist customers with their self-service transactions. This is a crucial customer-facing role where your primary focus will be ensuring a smooth and positive shopping experience for everyone. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and offer assistance with the self-checkout process.
- Monitor self-checkout stations to identify and resolve issues promptly, such as scanning errors or payment problems.
- Provide guidance and support to customers who are unfamiliar with the self-checkout system.
- Process age-restricted sales by verifying identification as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the self-checkout area.
- Answer customer inquiries and direct them to appropriate colleagues or departments when necessary.
- Ensure security protocols are followed at all times.
Required Skills
