Job Description

Are you passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to make a tangible impact with a global leader? Netflix is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sustainability Aide to support our Green Initiatives team in Pearland, TX. This entry-level role is perfect for an individual looking to kickstart their career in corporate sustainability. You will play a crucial part in gathering data, assisting with reporting, and supporting the implementation of various environmental programs aimed at reducing Netflix’s carbon footprint and promoting eco-friendly practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in collecting, organizing, and analyzing environmental data related to energy consumption, waste management, and water usage.
  • Support the preparation of sustainability reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct research on best practices in corporate sustainability and emerging environmental regulations.
  • Aid in the coordination and implementation of green initiatives, such as recycling programs, energy efficiency projects, and sustainable procurement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all sustainability-related activities.
  • Collaborate with various departments to raise awareness and promote employee engagement in sustainability efforts.
  • Perform administrative tasks as needed to support the Green Initiatives team.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Knowledge of carbon accounting principles and GHG emissions reporting.
