Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Influencer Transcription Aide with a creative talent focus to join our dynamic marketing and content team. In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing audio and video content from various influencer campaigns, interviews, and brand events. Your work will play a crucial role in making our rich media content accessible, searchable, and ready for further production, directly contributing to our brand’s storytelling and engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video content from influencer collaborations, interviews, podcasts, and live events with exceptional accuracy and speed.
- Review and edit transcripts for grammatical errors, punctuation, spelling, and clarity, ensuring consistency with brand voice guidelines.
- Organize and manage transcription files, adhering to established naming conventions and storage protocols.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, social media, and content creation teams to understand project requirements and meet deadlines.
- Assist in the creation of captions and subtitles for various digital platforms to enhance content accessibility and engagement.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and unreleased content.
- Identify key themes, speakers, and timestamps within content to facilitate efficient content indexing and searchability for internal teams.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening comprehension and typing skills (minimum 60+ WPM).
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative environment.
- Familiarity with various audio/video file formats and basic transcription software/tools.
- Basic understanding of digital content creation workflows and social media platforms.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent practical experience in Communications, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in transcription, data entry, administrative support, or similar roles, particularly within media, entertainment, or fashion industries.
- Prior exposure to influencer marketing campaigns or content development processes.
- Familiarity with Vans brand culture, action sports, music, or youth culture.
- Proficiency in a second language is considered a valuable asset.
