Job Description
Are you passionate about making vehicles shine? CarMax is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Car Valeter / Wash Attendant to join our dynamic team in Nashville, TN. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of vehicles, including washing, waxing, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Ensure all vehicles meet CarMax's high standards of cleanliness and presentation before being displayed or delivered.
- Operate car wash equipment and various cleaning tools safely and efficiently.
- Inspect vehicles for any damage or issues during the cleaning process and report findings.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage of tools and supplies.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
- Assist with moving vehicles on the lot as needed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to perform detailed cleaning and detailing of vehicles.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift.
- Basic understanding of automotive care products and equipment.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car valeting, detailing, or a similar automotive service role.
- Familiarity with various car wash systems and detailing techniques.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
