Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role is crucial for providing exceptional customer service, handling a variety of banking transactions, and, uniquely, guiding customers through the benefits available through our various financial products, especially focusing on 401k options, and medical, dental, and vision insurance payment processes. You will be the front-line representative, building relationships and ensuring a smooth, positive banking experience. While experience is a plus, we are dedicated to training individuals who possess a strong work ethic and a passion for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Actively listen to customer needs and identify opportunities to introduce relevant banking products and services, with a special emphasis on explaining 401k options, medical, dental, and vision benefit payment solutions.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, statement reconciliations, and dispute resolutions.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by adhering to established bank procedures and security protocols.
- Educate customers on various banking technologies, such as online banking, mobile apps, and ATMs.
- Uphold a high level of confidentiality and adhere to all regulatory compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with branch colleagues to achieve team goals and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to stay informed about product changes and industry trends.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic mathematical aptitude and cash handling abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- A genuine desire to help customers and provide outstanding service.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in banking, retail, or a customer service role.
- Familiarity with financial products, particularly 401k, insurance, and investment basics.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
