Job Description

We are urgently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Porter to join our dynamic team at Hilton London Canary Wharf. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, playing a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming first impression. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting guests with their luggage, providing information about the hotel and local area, and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their stay. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is eager to contribute to a premium guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering immediate assistance.
  • Efficiently handle guest luggage, including loading, unloading, and storing it safely.
  • Provide guests with accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with transportation needs, such as calling taxis or providing directions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby and entrance areas.
  • Deliver messages, newspapers, and other items to guest rooms as required.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and inquiries.
  • Operate hotel bell carts safely and professionally.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest service.
