Job Description
We are actively seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as UPS Taggers in Wesley Chapel, FL. These newly added positions are crucial for maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our distribution operations. As a Tagger, you will be responsible for accurately identifying, scanning, and labeling packages, ensuring they are correctly sorted and routed for their next destination. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately identify packages requiring specific labels or tags based on shipping manifests and instructions.
- Operate scanning equipment to record package information and update tracking systems.
- Apply appropriate labels, tags, and markers to packages with precision and speed.
- Verify package destinations and contents against documentation to prevent errors.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including sorting and organizing packages as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding any discrepancies or issues.
Required Skills
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and shipping labels.
- Basic computer literacy for operating scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation to the work site.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar production environment.
- Familiarity with scanning technology and inventory management systems.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
