Job Description
Are you a 15-year-old living in West Virginia with a passion for apps and a knack for spotting what works and what doesn’t? UserTesting.com is seeking enthusiastic and tech-savvy teens to join our remote team as Online App Testers. This is a unique opportunity to provide valuable feedback on new and existing mobile applications, websites, and digital experiences before they go live to the public. You’ll help shape the future of technology by sharing your honest opinions and insights from the perspective of a 15-year-old user. No prior experience is required – just your natural curiosity and user perspective! This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home in Morgantown, WV, on a flexible schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate and interact with various mobile applications, websites, and digital prototypes.
- Provide clear, constructive, and honest feedback on user experience, design, functionality, and overall appeal.
- Complete specific testing tasks and scenarios as outlined in each test prompt.
- Record your thoughts and actions aloud while testing, using our intuitive platform (audio and screen recording will be required).
- Identify bugs, glitches, confusing elements, and areas for improvement.
- Submit completed test sessions within specified deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all tested applications and concepts.
Required Skills
- Must be exactly 15 years old.
- Proficiency in using smartphones, tablets, or computers.
- Reliable internet access and a quiet environment for testing.
- Ability to articulate thoughts and opinions clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in digital products and user experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with a variety of mobile apps and games.
- Familiarity with different operating systems (iOS and Android).
- A desire to influence product development.
- Previous participation in surveys or online feedback activities.
