Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial Electrician to join our critical operations team in Pasco, Washington. This role is pivotal in ensuring the continuous and safe operation of our state-of-the-art logistics facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all electrical systems and equipment, including conveyors, automated sorting systems, lighting, and power distribution systems. Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical control systems and apparatus within a large-scale industrial logistics facility.
- Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters.
- Perform preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment to ensure operational reliability and minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Adhere to all local, state, and national electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly and efficiently.
- Implement and maintain energy efficiency initiatives.
Required Skills
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an industrial or commercial electrical setting.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing complex electrical systems, including 3-phase motors and control circuits.
- Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with various types of electrical testing equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and HMI systems.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems and automated material handling equipment.
- Certification in electrical safety (e.g., OSHA 10/30).
- Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or manufacturing environment.
