Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and vigilant Part-time Gözetmen (Monitor) for weekend warehouse security at our facility in The Woodlands, TX. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets during off-peak hours. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong observational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. You will be a vital part of our operations, helping to protect our valuable shipments and ensure smooth weekend logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, responding promptly to alerts.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals entering and exiting the facility.
- Maintain detailed logs of all security-related incidents, observations, and daily activities.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures to prevent theft, damage, and unauthorized entry.
- Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or natural disasters, following established protocols.
- Collaborate with team members and management to enhance overall security measures.
- Provide a visible security presence to deter potential security threats.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent observational and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
- Basic computer proficiency for logging and report writing.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturdays and Sundays).
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, loss prevention, or a similar monitoring role.
- Valid security guard license or certification (e.g., Level II/III Non-Commissioned Security Officer in Texas).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics environments.
