Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Weekend Night Porter to join our prestigious hotel in Manchester. This pivotal role ensures the smooth operation of our front office and guest services during the quieter night hours, with a particular focus on Saturday and Sunday shifts. You will be the welcoming face of our hotel, responsible for the safety, security, and comfort of our guests, responding to their needs, and maintaining the highest standards of service. This role offers enhanced rates for weekend shifts, recognizing the crucial contribution of our night team.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform security checks throughout the hotel premises, ensuring guest safety and property security.
- Assist guests with late-night check-ins and early check-outs, handling luggage and queries efficiently.
- Manage guest requests and complaints during night hours, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Process administrative tasks, including preparing reports and auditing daily transactions.
- Handle incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly front desk and lobby area.
- Set up and clear breakfast buffets or meeting rooms as required.
- Respond to emergency situations and liaise with relevant authorities or hotel management.
- Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to during your shifts.
