Job Description
Join Ulta Beauty as a Returns Handler with a special focus on makeup, hygiene, and repacking. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously processing returned beauty products, ensuring they meet our strict hygiene standards, and preparing them for proper inventory management or disposal. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a commitment to cleanliness, and an understanding of product integrity. You will be an essential part of maintaining product quality and operational efficiency within our New Port Richey facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and process returned makeup and beauty products.
- Inspect returned items for damage, defects, and signs of use, ensuring compliance with hygiene protocols.
- Clean, sanitize, and repackage eligible products according to brand standards.
- Accurately document all returns information into the inventory management system.
- Identify and separate products that cannot be resold due to hygiene concerns or damage, arranging for their proper disposal.
- Collaborate with quality control and inventory teams to report discrepancies and improve returns processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety guidelines.
- Operate basic material handling equipment as needed (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including sorting and general organization.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or returns processing role.
- Familiarity with beauty products, particularly makeup and skincare.
- Experience with inventory management software or systems.
- Proven track record of upholding hygiene and quality standards.
