Job Description

As a Systems Admin Aide in Enterprise IT Support, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of our internal IT infrastructure. You will assist senior system administrators and IT support specialists in delivering prompt and efficient technical assistance to our employees, ensuring optimal system performance and user satisfaction. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Perform routine system checks, backups, and data recovery procedures.
  • Support network connectivity issues, including Wi-Fi and VPN setup.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in active directory and other systems.
  • Document IT procedures, solutions, and incident resolutions.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate senior IT personnel.
  • Assist with inventory management of IT assets.
  • Contribute to IT projects as assigned by the IT Manager.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with computer hardware components and troubleshooting.
  • Basic network concepts (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • CompTIA A+ or IT Fundamentals certification.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk).
  • Familiarity with Active Directory user and group management.
  • Basic knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS).
