Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Social Media Strategist with a strong focus on performance to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and executing social media strategies that not only enhance brand presence but also drive measurable results and achieve specific business objectives. You will analyze social media trends, manage campaigns, optimize content for engagement and conversions, and report on key performance indicators. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals and performance targets.
- Manage and optimize social media campaigns across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok) with a strong emphasis on ROI.
- Conduct thorough audience research, competitive analysis, and social listening to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create, curate, and schedule engaging and performance-driven content (text, image, video).
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and content teams to ensure brand consistency and integrated campaign execution.
- Manage social media advertising budgets and ensure efficient allocation for optimal results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, platform changes, and emerging trends.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist or similar role with a performance marketing focus.
- Demonstrable expertise in managing paid social media campaigns across major platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong understanding of content optimization and SEO principles for social platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications in social media marketing or digital advertising (e.g., Meta Certified Professional, Google Ads).
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) on social media.
- Familiarity with CRM software and marketing automation tools.
- Portfolio showcasing successful social media campaigns with measurable results.
