Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Tally Clerk to join our team in New Port Richey. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse. The ideal candidate will focus solely on precise data entry and verification, working independently to meticulously record incoming and outgoing shipments. This position does not involve any phone-based customer service or coordination; your primary focus will be on the integrity of our data. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately count and verify incoming and outgoing materials, goods, and products.
  • Record all data related to inventory movement into designated systems (WMS/ERP).
  • Generate and maintain detailed tally sheets, logs, and reports.
  • Identify and report discrepancies in quantities or product descriptions immediately.
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
  • Ensure all documentation is complete, legible, and properly filed.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with warehouse operations teams to ensure efficient material flow.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in basic arithmetic and data entry.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 20 lbs), and move around a warehouse environment for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or inventory control role.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
