Job Description
Join Apple’s dynamic legal team as an Apple Legal Inquiry Evaluator with a strong focus on Legal Technology. In this 100% remote role, you will be instrumental in managing, evaluating, and responding to a wide range of legal inquiries received by Apple. Leveraging cutting-edge legal tech tools and platforms, you will ensure efficient processing, accurate assessment, and timely resolution of cases. This position requires a keen eye for detail, excellent analytical skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes within a technology context. You will collaborate closely with internal legal counsel, external partners, and various Apple departments to uphold Apple’s legal integrity and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, categorize, and prioritize incoming legal inquiries from various channels.
- Conduct initial evaluation and triage of legal requests, identifying critical issues and relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize legal technology platforms and databases for case management, research, and data retrieval.
- Draft clear, concise, and legally accurate responses to inquiries, escalating complex matters to senior legal counsel.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, legal compliance standards, and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and customer support, to gather necessary information.
- Maintain detailed records of all inquiries, evaluations, and resolutions within designated systems.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of legal tech tools, workflows, and best practices.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations on inquiry trends and legal insights.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in legal support, paralegal work, or legal operations, with a focus on inquiry management.
- Strong understanding of legal processes, terminology, and research methodologies.
- Proficiency in using legal technology software, e-discovery platforms, or case management systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage a high-volume workload effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, Business Administration, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a corporate legal department or a technology company.
- Fluency in additional languages relevant to European operations (e.g., German, French, Spanish).
- Familiarity with intellectual property, privacy law, or consumer protection regulations.
