Job Description
PulteGroup is seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Part-time Weekend Site Marshall in New Port Richey, FL. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our construction site during weekend hours, providing a visible presence, and assisting visitors and contractors. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor site access points, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter the premises.
- Conduct regular patrols of the construction site to identify and report any safety hazards, security breaches, or unauthorized activities.
- Provide clear and concise safety instructions to visitors, contractors, and staff, ensuring adherence to site regulations.
- Assist with directing site traffic, including deliveries and parking, to maintain smooth operations.
- Respond to minor incidents or emergencies on-site, providing initial assistance and escalating to appropriate personnel as needed.
- Maintain a detailed log of all visitors, incidents, and activities during shifts.
- Ensure all safety signage and barriers are correctly in place and visible.
- Communicate effectively with site management regarding any concerns or observations.
Required Skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to patrol sites, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in various weather conditions
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, marshalling, or a safety-focused role
- First Aid/CPR certification
- Experience working in a construction or industrial environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
