Job Description

Spotlight Dance Company is seeking a dynamic and organized Part-Time Dance Studio Receptionist to join our team. This flexible role is ideal for theater students or individuals with a passion for the arts, offering adaptable hours to fit your schedule. You will be the first point of contact for our studio, responsible for creating a welcoming environment, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet students, parents, and visitors warmly, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage general inquiries about classes, schedules, and events.
  • Process registrations, tuition payments, and merchandise sales accurately.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy reception area and waiting room.
  • Assist with scheduling classes, private lessons, and studio rentals.
  • Communicate important updates and announcements to students and parents.
  • Handle basic administrative tasks, including data entry and filing.
  • Support instructors and management with various operational needs as required.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite, email).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
