Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shopify Specialist to join our dynamic e-commerce team in Penticton. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing, maintaining, and developing our Shopify Plus store, ensuring a seamless and engaging online shopping experience for our customers. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail to drive sales and enhance brand presence through our digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the Shopify Plus e-commerce platform, including product listings, collections, promotions, and content updates.
- Implement and maintain Shopify apps and integrations to enhance site functionality and user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to execute digital campaigns, A/B tests, and new feature rollouts.
- Monitor website performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights to improve conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the Shopify store, themes, and integrations.
- Stay up-to-date with Shopify's latest features, best practices, and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.
- Ensure website content, product information, and pricing are accurate and consistent across all channels.
- Conduct regular audits of the website for functionality, speed, and mobile responsiveness.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify Plus platform management.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (Shopify's templating language).
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI principles, and SEO.
- Experience with Google Analytics and other e-commerce analytics tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, E-commerce, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (e.g., Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
- Familiarity with A/B testing tools and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Knowledge of graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Figma) for basic asset management.
