Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist with a strong background in AI and Machine Learning to join our innovative team in Frisco, Texas. This role is crucial for developing, implementing, and deploying advanced analytical models and machine learning solutions that address complex business challenges across Oracle’s product portfolio. The successful candidate will work with large datasets, leverage state-of-the-art algorithms, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data-driven insights into actionable strategies and products. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Perform extensive data exploration, feature engineering, and data preprocessing to prepare data for modeling.
- Evaluate and validate models using appropriate statistical methods and metrics, ensuring high accuracy and reliability.
- Deploy machine learning models into production environments and monitor their performance, making necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other data scientists to integrate AI/ML solutions into existing products and services.
- Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science, and apply new techniques where appropriate.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of our AI/ML initiatives and foster a data-driven culture within the organization.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python and/or R for data science and machine learning.
- Strong experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn.
- Expertise in statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and various machine learning algorithms (e.g., regression, classification, clustering, deep learning).
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and SQL for data manipulation and querying large datasets.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and managing ML models.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop.
- Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools for model lifecycle management.
- Prior experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
- Proven track record of deploying machine learning models into production environments.
- Publications in relevant AI/ML conferences or journals.
