Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented UPS Support Associate to join our Fairbanks team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and providing exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will assist with various administrative tasks, customer inquiries, and operational support, playing a vital part in our daily logistics activities. Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues related to shipments, tracking, and services.
- Assist with package handling, sorting, and preparation for delivery or shipment.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of shipping activities and customer interactions.
- Support office administration, including managing supplies, filing, and scheduling appointments.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational goals.
- Handle cash and process payments accurately for services rendered.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading packages as needed.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds unassisted and perform physical tasks as required.
- Customer service experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, shipping, or administrative support role.
- Knowledge of UPS systems and procedures.
- Forklift certification (if applicable to specific duties).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
