Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and customer-focused Night Porter to join our dedicated team at Apex City Quay Hotel & Spa. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to start a career in hospitality, as full training will be provided. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring the safety, security, and comfort of our guests throughout the night. You will handle guest requests, manage late check-ins and early check-outs, and maintain the hotel’s high standards of service and presentation during quieter hours. This role comes with a high night shift premium, recognizing the unique nature of working overnight.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage late guest arrivals and early departures efficiently and courteously.
- Respond promptly and effectively to all guest inquiries and requests during the night.
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols of the hotel premises to ensure guest and property safety.
- Handle any emergencies or incidents in accordance with hotel procedures, including fire safety.
- Set up meeting rooms, prepare breakfast areas, or assist with light maintenance tasks as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas, including the lobby and entrance.
- Process end-of-day financial reports and manage cash handling if necessary.
- Assist with luggage and provide information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are adhered to throughout the night shift.
