As a Sorter, you will play a crucial role in our package handling process, ensuring packages are accurately sorted and moved through our facility. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from vehicles, containers, and conveyor belts.
- Sort packages based on destination, size, and weight, adhering to established procedures.
- Scan packages using handheld devices to track movement and ensure accuracy.
- Safely operate package handling equipment, including dollies, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient environment.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 70 lbs (with assistance when needed).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
- Basic comprehension and communication skills in English.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb for extended periods.
Preferred Qualifications
