Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and organized Logistics Operations Assistant to join our team in Rialto, CA. This full-time position operates Monday to Friday and is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of our logistics operations. The ideal candidate will support various administrative and operational tasks, contributing to the overall success of our distribution and warehousing efforts. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular audits.
  • Prepare and process shipping documentation, including bills of lading and packing lists.
  • Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal departments.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for data entry and reporting.
  • Resolve minor operational discrepancies and escalate complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Support the logistics team with general administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with logistics terminology and procedures.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
