Job Description
Are you an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for customer service? Chase Bank is looking for a Bank Teller to join our high-energy team in Indianapolis. In this pivotal role, you will be the face of our branch, providing exceptional service to our customers, processing transactions accurately, and identifying opportunities to help them with their financial needs. This position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer by adhering to established procedures and policies.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate banking products and services, such as checking accounts, savings accounts, and credit cards.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Support branch operations by assisting with opening and closing procedures, as well as other administrative tasks.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a positive banking experience.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience (e.g., retail, hospitality).
- Experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Familiarity with banking regulations and compliance procedures.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
