Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and compassionate Nanny / Housekeeper to join a private family in Escondido, CA. This varied role requires a dedicated individual capable of seamlessly blending childcare responsibilities with meticulous household management. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to create a supportive and well-maintained home environment. Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and engaging childcare for school-aged children, including school pickups/drop-offs, activity supervision, and homework assistance.
- Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, accommodating any dietary needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and tidy home environment, including daily cleaning, laundry, and light organizing.
- Manage household errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, and other essential tasks.
- Assist with pet care as needed (e.g., feeding, walking).
- Oversee household inventory and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Coordinate with other household staff or vendors as required.
- Adhere to family routines and preferences while exercising good judgment and initiative.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Nanny or Housekeeper in a private family setting.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in basic cooking and meal preparation.
- Knowledge of various cleaning techniques and products.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Early childhood education background or relevant childcare certifications.
