Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for your first job or a flexible opportunity to gain experience in a vibrant salon environment? Black Hills Beauty Salon is seeking a Gel Polish Assistant to support our experienced nail technicians with simple, crucial tasks. This entry-level position is perfect for someone eager to learn about the beauty industry, possesses a strong work ethic, and enjoys contributing to a positive customer experience. No prior experience is required – we’ll teach you everything you need to know!
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare workstations for nail technicians, ensuring all tools and products are clean and organized.
- Assist with basic cleaning and sanitation of salon equipment and common areas.
- Greet clients warmly and offer beverages upon their arrival.
- Restock supplies and towels in manicure and pedicure stations.
- Handle laundry duties, ensuring fresh towels are always available.
- Maintain a clean and tidy reception area and waiting lounge.
- Assist clients with choosing polish colors and provide basic information about services.
- Support nail technicians with simple tasks as needed, such as retrieving products or disposing of waste.
