Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Casual Hotel Porters to join our dynamic team at Hilton Watford. This role offers flexible shifts, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to balance work with other commitments, or those seeking an entry point into the hospitality industry. As a Hotel Porter, you will be crucial in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable stay, assisting with luggage, deliveries, and general guest requests. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests upon arrival and assist with luggage handling, ensuring efficient and safe transport to and from rooms.
- Assist guests with inquiries, provide directions, and offer information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
- Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper logging and distribution.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas.
- Support other hotel departments, such as front desk or housekeeping, as needed.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve minor issues.
- Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed at all times.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to lift and carry luggage and stand for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to help.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
