Job Description
Are you looking for a physically engaging role with immediate start and weekly pay? Two Men and a Truck in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Movers / General Labourers. No prior experience is needed – we provide comprehensive training! If you’re dependable, a team player, and ready to work, we want to hear from you.
As a Mover / General Labourer, you will be an essential part of our moving team, ensuring our customers’ belongings are transported safely and efficiently. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Thousand Oaks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently move, pack, and unpack household or office items.
- Load and unload moving trucks with care and precision.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform general labour tasks as assigned to support moving operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) regularly.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when necessary.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (preferred, but not required for all roles).
- Previous experience in a physical labour, warehousing, or customer service role is a plus.
