Job Description

Are you someone who enjoys being active and working outdoors? Ralphs is looking for a dedicated Supermarket Trolley Auditor to join our team in Long Beach, CA. In this unique role, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, cleanliness, and functional integrity of our shopping trolleys across various Ralphs locations. This isn’t just a desk job; you’ll be on the move, primarily working outdoors, contributing directly to a positive shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits of shopping trolleys at designated Ralphs supermarket locations.
  • Inspect trolleys for cleanliness, damage, and general usability.
  • Ensure an adequate supply of trolleys is available at store entrances and in designated parking areas.
  • Perform minor on-site repairs (e.g., tightening loose bolts) or report major defects for maintenance.
  • Document audit findings, including quantities, conditions, and repair needs.
  • Collaborate with store management to address trolley-related issues and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to all safety protocols while on duty.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to walk, stand, and move trolleys for extended periods outdoors.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between designated store locations.
  • Basic communication skills.
  • Ability to use a mobile device for reporting and documentation.
