Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Junior Aesthetic Practitioner to join our growing team in Fresno, CA. This is an immediate hire position for individuals looking to launch or advance their career in medical aesthetics. You will work under the supervision of experienced practitioners, providing a range of aesthetic treatments and assisting in client consultations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about beauty, wellness, and client care, with a strong desire to learn and grow within the industry. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior practitioners in performing various aesthetic treatments, including laser hair removal, photo facials, and skin rejuvenation.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
- Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care instructions and product recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment progress and consent forms.
- Ensure client comfort and safety throughout all procedures.
- Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory management of aesthetic products and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive client experience.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety protocols, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Skills
- Valid Aesthetician or Cosmetologist license in California (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Certification in Laser Hair Removal and/or other aesthetic treatments (or willingness to complete training).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Basic computer proficiency for record keeping.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgery setting.
- Knowledge of various skincare products and ingredients.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English).
