Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Grocery Stocking Auditor with a focus on night replenishment to join our Elk Grove team. This crucial role involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our night stocking operations, verifying product placement, inventory levels, and compliance with merchandising standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently during overnight hours. You will play a vital role in maintaining our store’s appearance and ensuring that our shelves are always well-stocked and ready for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough audits of night replenishment activities, including product stocking, rotation, and display.
  • Verify the accuracy of inventory counts and report discrepancies.
  • Ensure all products are shelved according to planograms and company merchandising guidelines.
  • Monitor stock levels to prevent out-of-stock situations and overstocking.
  • Identify and report damaged or expired products.
  • Collaborate with the night crew and store management to address stocking issues and implement improvements.
  • Document audit findings and provide detailed reports.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation protocols.
  • Assist with other store operations as needed during night shifts.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in retail operations, inventory management, or auditing.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency for data entry and reporting.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a grocery or supermarket setting.
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Experience with planograms and merchandising standards.
