Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable Junior Pipeline Maintenance Hand to join our dedicated team in Alexandria. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals eager to start a career in the vital oil & gas and infrastructure sector. As a Junior Pipeline Maintenance Hand, you will assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of pipelines and associated facilities. This role requires working primarily outdoors in various weather conditions and demands a strong work ethic, a commitment to safety, and the ability to perform physical tasks. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians in the inspection, maintenance, and repair of pipelines.
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying equipment.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
- Support the preparation of work sites, including setting up safety barriers and signage.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company regulations.
- Report any anomalies, damage, or safety concerns promptly to supervisors.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical tasks outdoors for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
