Job Description
Are you enthusiastic, reliable, and looking to kickstart your career in the exciting world of live events? The Brighton Centre is seeking proactive and friendly individuals to join our team as Ticket Scanners for upcoming concerts, sports events, and various entertainment spectacles. No prior experience is required – we’ll provide all the training you need! This is a fantastic opportunity for those with a passion for customer service and a desire to be part of the magic behind major events. You will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, ensuring a smooth and welcoming entry experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor upon arrival.
- Efficiently scan event tickets using handheld devices, ensuring validity and authenticity.
- Verify guest identification when required (e.g., for age-restricted events).
- Direct guests to the appropriate entry points or designated areas.
- Provide clear and concise information regarding event entry procedures and venue policies.
- Handle potential issues with invalid or problem tickets, escalating to supervisors as needed.
- Maintain a professional and calm attitude, especially during busy periods.
- Adhere to all venue security and safety protocols and emergency procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other event staff, including security and ushers, to ensure smooth event operations.
