Job Description

We are seeking a highly analytical and experienced Workflow Optimizer to join our Operations Management team in Durham, NC. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in analyzing, designing, and implementing optimized operational workflows specifically for our key client, Netflix. This role requires a deep understanding of process improvement methodologies, a keen eye for efficiency, and the ability to drive change in complex, fast-paced environments. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, leveraging data to identify bottlenecks, streamline processes, and enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Netflix’s operational frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing Netflix operational workflows, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Design and develop optimized workflow solutions using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Agile principles.
  • Collaborate with Netflix's internal teams, including content operations, supply chain, and technology, to understand business requirements and ensure proposed solutions align with strategic goals.
  • Implement and manage change initiatives, providing training and support to ensure successful adoption of new processes.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented optimizations and report on progress.
  • Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights, model scenarios, and present data-driven recommendations to leadership.
  • Proactively identify emerging technologies and best practices that can further enhance operational efficiency for Netflix.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to foster collaboration and gather input from diverse stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or business analysis.
  • Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
  • Experience working with or within the media and entertainment industry, particularly streaming services.
  • Familiarity with workflow automation tools and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
