Job Description
Baker Hughes is seeking motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join our team as an Entry-Level Flowback Technician in Arlington Heights, IL. You will be instrumental in the setup, operation, and maintenance of flowback equipment at well sites, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the rigging up and rigging down of flowback equipment at well sites.
- Monitor well performance and gather data during flowback operations.
- Operate various valves, manifolds, and other specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Identify and troubleshoot basic equipment malfunctions.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment status, and safety checks.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a strong safety culture.
- Work effectively as part of a team in various weather conditions and remote locations.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors.
Preferred Qualifications
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.
- Prior experience in a physically demanding role or outdoor work environment.
- Certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR).
