Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote E-commerce Assistant to join our growing skincare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate processing of online orders, ensuring a seamless customer experience from purchase to delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong administrative skills and a passion for beauty and e-commerce to contribute to a leading brand in a fully remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming e-commerce skincare orders accurately and efficiently using our internal systems.
  • Verify order details, including product selection, shipping addresses, and payment information.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and shipping partners to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
  • Monitor order status and provide updates to customers as needed.
  • Handle order modifications, cancellations, and returns in accordance with company policy.
  • Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, shipping, and product availability via email and chat.
  • Maintain detailed records of all order-related activities.
  • Support other e-commerce administrative tasks as assigned.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in using e-commerce platforms and order management systems (e.g., Shopify, Magento).
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an e-commerce, administrative, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with skincare products and the beauty industry.
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar customer support software.
  • A self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
