Job Description

Key Responsibilities

- Help monitor compliance with environmental protection standards and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Aid in emergency response drills and actual incident management under direct supervision.

- Collaborate with various departments to promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail and observational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures diligently
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Physical ability to work in various maritime environments (indoors/outdoors, confined spaces, elevated platforms)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in a related field (e.g., Maritime Studies, Environmental Science, Safety Management)
- Previous experience (paid or volunteer) in a structured environment requiring adherence to rules or protocols
- Knowledge of basic maritime terminology or safety concepts
- Valid driver's license
