Job Description
Are you a motivated 15-year-old looking for your very first job? Target in New Port Richey is seeking enthusiastic and responsible teens to join our team as Retail Helpers. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop essential customer service skills, and contribute to a bustling retail environment. We are looking for individuals who are eager to learn, reliable, and ready to assist our customers and team members with a variety of tasks. No prior experience is necessary – we will provide all the training you need to succeed!
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in locating products and answering basic inquiries.
- Help maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including tidying shelves and displays.
- Support inventory management by assisting with stocking shelves and organizing backroom areas.
- Retrieve shopping carts from parking lots and ensure they are available for customers.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to fellow team members as needed.
- Adhere to all store policies and safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Must be 15 years old.
- Ability to work legally under applicable child labor laws for your age.
- Strong willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
