Louis Vuitton’s Santa Fe Flagship Store is seeking a dynamic and creative Visual Merchandising & Windows Intern to join our dedicated team. You will work alongside experienced professionals, learning the intricacies of window display creation, in-store merchandising, and the art of customer engagement through visual presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Visual Merchandising Manager in the execution of seasonal window displays and in-store visual directives.
- Support the team in the setup and takedown of displays, ensuring adherence to global brand guidelines and standards.
- Help prepare and maintain props, fixtures, and other visual elements.
- Learn to arrange products appealingly, ensuring proper lighting, cleanliness, and signage.
- Monitor the condition of displays and assist with maintenance or repairs as needed.
- Research current visual merchandising trends and competitors for inspiration.
- Organize and manage visual merchandising tools and inventory.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure visual displays support sales goals and product launches.
- Document and photograph completed displays for archival purposes and feedback.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for luxury fashion and visual aesthetics.
- Basic understanding of design principles and visual merchandising concepts.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift and move display materials as required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/certificate in Fashion Merchandising, Interior Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience (even voluntary) in a retail or visual display setting.
- Familiarity with luxury brand standards and client expectations.
