Job Description
Output Inc. is seeking a passionate and talented Junior Music Producer to join our growing content and product development team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring producer to contribute to the creation of premium sound libraries, demos, and educational content for our groundbreaking music production tools. You will work within a modern tech stack, collaborating closely with sound designers, engineers, and product managers to bring innovative sonic experiences to life for our global user base.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality musical demos and examples using Output Inc. products to showcase features and inspire users.
- Contribute to the sound design and content creation for new software instruments and expansion packs.
- Collaborate with senior producers and engineers to refine and master audio assets for release.
- Assist in the development of educational tutorials and walkthroughs for new products.
- Stay current with music production trends, technologies, and artistic movements.
- Provide creative input and feedback during product development cycles.
- Manage and organize project files, ensuring adherence to internal naming conventions and workflows.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one major Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) such as Ableton Live, Logic Pro X, or FL Studio.
- Demonstrable knowledge of music theory, harmony, and rhythm.
- Strong understanding of sound design principles, synthesis, and sampling.
- Familiarity with various audio effects (reverb, delay, compression, EQ, etc.) and their application.
- Excellent ear for detail and a critical approach to audio quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment.
- A strong portfolio showcasing original music production, sound design, or beat-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Music Production, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Native Instruments Kontakt or other sampler platforms.
- Proficiency in multiple musical genres.
- Basic knowledge of coding or scripting for audio (e.g., Max for Live, Python for audio applications).
- Experience with modern mixing and mastering techniques.
- Previous internship or entry-level experience in a studio or music tech company.
