Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Technical Support Specialist (Level 1) to join our remote team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional technical assistance and customer service to ensure a seamless streaming experience. You will troubleshoot a variety of technical issues related to account access, streaming quality, device compatibility, and general platform navigation. This is a 100% remote position, and a company-provided laptop will be supplied to ensure you have the tools you need to succeed from your home office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line technical support to Netflix members via phone, chat, and email, resolving issues efficiently and courteously.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems related to streaming devices (Smart TVs, gaming consoles, mobile devices, etc.), network connectivity, and application functionality.
  • Assist members with account management, billing inquiries, and general navigation of the Netflix platform.
  • Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support when necessary, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.
  • Educate members on optimal use of Netflix features and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of all member interactions and technical issues in our CRM system.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Netflix features, services, and troubleshooting procedures.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Basic understanding of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS) and web browsers.
  • Familiarity with various streaming devices and home networking concepts.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6+ months of experience in a customer service or technical support role, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Experience with CRM software and remote support tools.
  • Passion for movies, TV shows, and the entertainment industry.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-evolving technical landscape.
