Job Description
Join Deloitte as a Virtual Decision Support specialist, focusing on logic and choice architecture. In this remote role, you will leverage advanced analytical techniques and decision science principles to help our clients make optimal strategic and operational choices. You will design and implement decision models, analyze complex datasets, and provide actionable insights that drive business performance and mitigate risks across various industries. This position requires a strong foundation in logical reasoning, quantitative analysis, and an ability to translate complex findings into clear, concise recommendations for diverse stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement decision support models and frameworks based on logical principles and choice theory.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify patterns, evaluate alternatives, and forecast potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business challenges and define decision-making objectives.
- Formulate clear, data-driven recommendations and present findings to stakeholders using compelling visualizations and narratives.
- Continuously research and apply best practices in decision science, behavioral economics, and advanced analytics.
- Develop and maintain robust documentation for models, analyses, and recommendations.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance client decision-making capabilities.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a focus on logical reasoning.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a virtual team environment.
- Solid understanding of decision theory, behavioral economics, or cognitive science principles.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in a relevant quantitative field.
- Experience with simulation modeling or optimization techniques.
- Certifications in data science, analytics, or project management.
- Previous consulting experience or experience in a client-facing analytical role.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing and analysis.
