Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Warehouse Sorter to join our team in Arvada, CO. This role is crucial for our weekend operations, focusing on high-volume package sorting to ensure timely delivery. You will be responsible for accurately sorting and organizing packages, utilizing scanning equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting during peak weekend hours. Ideal candidates are reliable, team-oriented, and committed to contributing to our operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and scan incoming packages and parcels based on destination and delivery routes.
- Place packages onto designated conveyors, carts, or shelves for further processing.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Identify and report any damaged packages or operational issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sorting targets.
- Work efficiently and effectively during high-volume weekend shifts.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds regularly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Ability to work in an environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
- Basic computer navigation and scanning device proficiency.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or sorting role.
- Experience with package scanning technology.
