Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our dynamic Supply Chain Insights team. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to FedEx’s strategic initiatives by analyzing complex supply chain data, identifying trends, and generating actionable insights. You will play a crucial role in optimizing our operations, improving efficiency, and supporting data-driven decision-making across various departments. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various internal and external sources related to supply chain operations.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in supply chain performance.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate key insights to stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation and validation of statistical models for forecasting, optimization, and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams to define data requirements and analytical approaches.
- Document data processes, methodologies, and findings clearly and concisely.
- Support the implementation of data-driven recommendations to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Basic understanding of supply chain concepts and terminology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, or a related quantitative field.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Internship or project experience in a data analysis or supply chain role.
