Job Description
We are seeking highly empathetic and dynamic Online Motivation Specialists to join our network of 1099 Contractors. This role involves providing personalized motivational support and guidance to our diverse member base through virtual one-on-one sessions. You will empower individuals to set and achieve personal and professional goals, overcome challenges, and build lasting positive habits. This is a flexible, 100% remote opportunity for experienced motivators and coaches looking to make a significant impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging and impactful virtual one-on-one motivational coaching sessions with members.
- Develop personalized action plans and goal-setting strategies in collaboration with members.
- Provide ongoing encouragement, accountability, and support to foster consistent member progress.
- Utilize active listening, empathetic communication, and effective questioning to understand member needs and aspirations.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records of member interactions and progress within our platform.
- Adhere to BetterUp's coaching methodologies, ethical guidelines, and quality standards.
- Engage actively with our vibrant contractor community and participate in optional training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to inspire, motivate, and empower individuals towards achieving their goals.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong active listening, empathy, and emotional intelligence.
- Proficiency in utilizing virtual communication and collaboration platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Demonstrated experience in goal setting, action planning, and accountability frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
- Certification from an accredited coaching program (e.g., ICF, BCC, EMCC).
- Prior experience as a professional coach, mentor, motivational speaker, or counselor.
- Experience working with diverse populations and understanding various cultural contexts.
- Familiarity with principles of positive psychology, behavioral science, or growth mindset methodologies.
