Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing friendly and professional service.
- Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to all bank security procedures.
- Assist customers with inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
- Basic mathematical aptitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience (minimum 6 months).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous teller or cash handling experience in a financial institution.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Ability to speak Spanish or other languages relevant to the local community.
- Associate's degree in business or related field.
